How can we improve Indaba Music?

Remove Hottest Tracks tab

There is a huge benefit to submitting contest material ASAP. This means more listens, more comments, which greatly increases the chances of winning. This system promotes speed at the expense of quality and Indaba should strive for quality. The hottest tracks tab perpetuates this and makes the problem worse. I'd like it to be removed until at least the submission deadline is up. I.e., just have the latest entries on "top" until the voting begins.

Indaba Music is one big scam, they will steal your music, your ideals, then create a fake submission to win their own judging contest so that they want have to pay the real winners, so they create fake submission, please stay away from Indaba they are one BIG Scam out to seal other artists ideals and possibly your music Brian McFarland is one big head bitch scam artist.

Yeah I agree, I think its all in the investing of your track you remade!......But I do agree I think that tab does kinda give an unfair advantage to early submitters when you frame it that way.

Yeah it doesn't promote equality in my opinion. Maybe have that area dedicated to categorizing tracks by genre?

Yes, I do not understand how and what is the "hottest tracks", but also see that "popular vote" should not be based only in number of votes, but in the percentage between listens X votes, It will be a lot more fair and solve the problem described above.
