How can we improve Indaba Music?

Allow users to moderate comments on tracks [ bring back the X ]

When certain users , unaware that voting is now transparent, add copy/paste comments saying 'great mix, I vote, you vote me back <url> ' - I'd rather hit that X button and delete the message, however the new version doesn't allow it.

Here's an example :

Indaba Music is one big scam, they will steal your music, your ideals, then create a fake submission to win their own judging contest so that they want have to pay the real winners, so they create fake submission, please stay away from Indaba they are one BIG Scam out to seal other artists ideals and possibly your music Brian McFarland is one big head bitch scam artist.

Agreed, you should be able to delete comments but be careful, I got into a situation on here years back were a back and forth on my time line was gathering a bit of unwanted attention, before I could delete the comments the other member deleted some of his making me look the bad guy.
BUT censorship shouldnt come into it. We have to be free to say what we want as long as its kept clean and fair. Trolling is for facebook not Indaba.

Yeah... this is a steaming pile to not be able to delete comments you don't want on your timeline. I am not talking about critiques you don't like or that hurt your ego... I am talking about trash talk, personal harassment and retaliation comments.

I was going to post a separate complaint but this is similar and I see action is planned for Apr 3 2013.

Users should be able to moderate all comments made to them, not only as spam, but as abuse, which I have recently encountered. Abusive comments of a sexual nature, which I could not remove.

        Thanks
